Winter Thyme is a very popular perennial herb. Its tiny oval leaves are used
to flavor meats, stuffings, stews, soups, and fish dishes. Sow seeds 1/8" deep
and set planter in a sunny windowsill. Water and fertilize regularly to encourage
new growth. Transplant outdoors after danger of frost is past. Dried leaves
hold their flavor well. To store, place in airtight jars after drying.
